I don't know why it's taken me so long to acquire an item of clothing with a printed photograph on it. If you follow my Make Believe Wardrobe, you will know that I've been pretty obsessed with printed clothes for quite some time. This dress is no exception - I am so obsessed. As well as this one, Romwe has a whole bunch of body-con dresses with photographic prints and artworks that I'm pretty sure will be in my wardrobe soon - particularly these two amazing things:
It is actually my dream to be rich and own a factory that can print out photos onto fabric and clothes, and own a fashion label/design clothes... ahh... one day...

I'm crazy for something like that too; specially a skirt with a photoprint of cats or something like that... the dress you've chosen is simply perfect, love it!
ReplyDeleteHey
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan from the UK!! I've just made some shorts using your DIY blog and they look soooo cute :D Keep the DIYs coming because you really inspire me, you even inspired me to buy a sewing machine!!!
Tasha
Hullo! Aww wow really?? That's awesome!! I'd love to see a picture of the shorts if you ever feel like sending them to me.
DeleteThanks so much for your lovely comment :)
xx Annika
I'll send a pic soon they do need some alterations as they are longer than I'd like but still soooo cute :) xx
DeleteYayy! Yeah, haha, my first attempt at shorts ended up a bit long too. I made those pyjamas and then altered my pattern to be shorter (and then they ended up like knicker shorts so I thought hey why not?)
DeleteI was thinking about ordering the wave dress on Romwe but I love this one as well! I hope you don't mind me asking but how tall are you? I'm a bit worried that this dress will be too short on me. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'm about 5ft 6. Pretty much average height, anyway, haha. It is a pretty short dress though, if I were much taller it wouldn't be very appropriate (it can ride up a little bit, but it's definitely alright for my height at least)
Deletewow that's such an amazing dress. If I stare at it long enough, it feels like I'm there.

I do love these printed dresses, a little while back I think it was romwe had an explosion dress which I thought looked awesome, but then I had a weird moral dilema over whether a picture of a big mushroom cloud was kind of like saying 'yay' to bombs even though it was an impressive photograph. So I didn't get it. Perhaps that's an odd way of thinking. It was similar to yours in going up a landscape from ground to sky and I think that that style really works on dresses.

I know exactly what you mean! When i first saw the atom bomb dress I was like "WHOA COOL IT'S A PICTURE ON A DRESS" but when I thought about it more, I reasoned that it was pretty tasteless. Even though it was a pretty photo, it's kind of like... a million people could have been killed out by that mushroom cloud. I will stick with zebras, thank you :)
DeletePerfect dress !

I'm thinking about getting one of those printed dresses as well. *-*
ReplyDeleteAnd you look so beautiful, it's kind of unusual to see you in a body tight dress but it definitely suits you!!
You always look so adorable. Also, the collar works great with the dress. Get the zebra one too!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had the budget for these dresses!
