When it comes to fashion, remixing is one of my favourite things to do! It forces me to get much more creative with my clothes, so that I don't have to stand there in front of my wardrobe, tearing out my hair, yelling "I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!" (well, that's the idea anyway).
Last year I started a short-lived series where I limited myself to 12 items of clothing for the entire month. Unfortunately doing that once a month was way too much work, so I only ever did two months (and you can see those past Style Challenge posts here). But I did really enjoy those posts, so this one is basically in the same vein - except that this time I decided to make a video!
a: thrifted b: thrifted c: DIY d: DIY e: vintage f: thrifted g: Naot h: thrifted i: vintage j: Yeswalker k: thrifted l: thrifted
In the end I got up to 24 outfits (I basically kept going until I had forgotten all the outfits that I'd already worn and gave up ^^ ), but I'd like to know if you can think of any cool combinations that I missed!
I hope you're having a lovely day!

Love the pleated periwinkle skirt - such a pretty contrast with your hair, especially with red lipstick!
ReplyDeleteI love the video, what a cute idea. :]
ReplyDeletehow do you tuck the shirt in when wearing it over a dress? :O
ReplyDeleteUsing a belt. My belt is quite wide, so most of the excess is hidden in there! Also I kind of fold it in half...? yeah. Hard to explain, haha. It worked though! ^_^
Deletesuch an ace idea! I love outfit 18. You've got a v.excellent accessory collection. Really need to invest in more separates for mix and matching - i'm always thinking I've got nothing to wear :)

ReplyDeleteThis is great! I need to try this!

Such a great idea! I definately need to try remixing soon. I think getting some basic clothes with a great cut and simple colours is key. Just to let you know, I used your circle skirt dress tutorial to make my very own dress. It was so useful so thankyou very much! You can see it here, www.prettynostalgia.blogspot.co.uk. I can't wait to follow loads more of your tutorials this summer.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good idea ! Maybe I'll try later... Otherwise I'm totally in love with item c ! How cute !
