My favorite image is Going Deep. Really, Really Deep. I love that there is still so much for us to learn and discover. And sometimes I like feeling small and insignificant in comparison to all of the creations. It makes my problems less heavy.
ReplyDeleteOMG! You have an amazing blog.Honestly, I love it. If you have a minute, please visit my blog too.

I love the photo of Curiosity on the Moon! I actually got to meet Phil Plait last year. I went to this really nerdy science day at the Huntsville Space Center to hear him give a talk -on Curiosity! It was so inspiring!
ReplyDeletegod those picture are the effing SH*T!!! I love the Rotating Gas Cloud, the animation is just brilliant! and what about the Cold Fire in Orion... or Orion over the Temple! I love the contrast between the human majestic architecture and the space above...quite unusual in astrophotography.
ReplyDeleteAnd Milky Way and Mashed Potato Mountain <3 amazing amazing photography... thanks for showing me this!
I've always thought that the Hubble Extreme Deep Field was so incredibly amazing. To look at that image and think that each little shape on there is an unimaginably vast galaxy filled with planets, stars, moons, and even possibly LIFE... so incredible!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I really like all the images in that post. The very first one of the sun made me say "Oh wow!" out loud, to my cat. haha!
My favorite picture was the Orion over the Temple of the Serpent God. Because is something so beautiful to see, a creation of the human kind and pure nature, both together and being complementary.
ReplyDeleteI think the The Sun’s Arch Rival was really cool!!
ReplyDeleteI really like Venus Transits the Sun but my favortie picture is Going Deep, very very deep and is now my wallpaper. Well, all the pictures are wonderful! I really like astonomy pictures.
ReplyDeleteIt's really hard to pick, but I like Cold fire in Orion the best. It just looks so...majestic? And I used to check Nasa's picture of the day everyday but I haven't done lately and these pictures reminded me!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite astronomy image is 'Galaxy With Arms Flung Wide' <3
ReplyDeleteMy favorite astromony images is "Cold Fire in Orion", it is so absolutely beautiful!!
ReplyDeletethanks for having a neat giveaway!!

My favorite was "The Best Vacation Photo Ever". It may sound weird, but I found it the cuttest thing in history the robot taking shots of himself in the middle of mars! Reminded me the beloved movie by pixar, Wall E. <33
ReplyDeletei love "The Chaos of Creation" because it holds a lot of amazing things inside one single frame of picture. shows how dynamic the stars actually are, and another proof that we are just a tiny tiny living creature in this whole universe.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite image is "Orion Over the Temple of the Serpent God." Not only is the constellation beautiful, but the temple is too. Together they create a remarkable image!
ReplyDeleteAll of the pictures are amazing. I love "Rocket. Laser. Aurora" the most :)
ReplyDeletei loooove all of the images, but most of all i like "icy aurora" <3
ReplyDeleteMy favourite one would have to be Rotating Gas Cloud
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pic is the Curiosity Rover!
ReplyDeleteSo difficult to choose just one, Garden Sprinkler Star is my top fave though, both aestethically and out of the phenomena it describes (I went on to read the blog post on it!)
ReplyDeletemy favourite pic is "icy aurora" because it's really really beautiful and romantic <3
ReplyDeleteChaos of Creation and Galaxy With Arms Flung Wide are extremely nice to look at.
ReplyDelete"Going Deep. Really, Really Deep"; it shows just how shockingly expansive the universe is, and for me that really hammers home the idea that we're all a lot smaller than we like to believe.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this giveaway! I have wanted galaxy print leggings forever! It would be amazing to win!
ReplyDeleteMt favorite pic is "The Best Vacation Photo Ever" - I can't look at the Curiosity photos without getting chills. That is MARS in the background - freaking another planet!!!!!! It's amazing.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the "When a 30-Octillion-Ton Baby Throws an Epic Fit" photo. I understand that stars can be extremely gorgeous but they can be dangerous, too. That's what makes something unique though, right? Beautiful, but dangerous? Haha. Thank you for the giveaway ^^
