30 Days of Dressing Up: April 2013

I hope you all enjoyed my April 2013 "Dressing Up" challenge! Hopefully this will help inspire your wardrobes for this transitional month (we're heading into winter here, but for most of you reading this, you're probably right in the middle of Spring!) You can get a lot of different outfits out of only 12 items. Also, check out March's "31 Days" here.

What's your favourite combination?

  3. Gahh so cute!!! I am ever-amazed by your versatility. This inspires me to find pieces I can remix in a bunch of different ways... I tend to go for statement pieces and wear them one way, which is silly :)

  9. What a great challenge! When it comes to style blogging a lot of the time you end up forgetting that you can actually re-wear pieces again. This inspires me to look into more interesting socks/tights instead of my plain black shear ones.

    Really lovely outfits!

  10. Oh geez. Are you a wizard!? But seriously these are all so flipping cute!
I don't think I've ever seen you wear over the knee tights before (you look so adorbs in #2). I'm especially in love with how those tights look with your doll shoes! Really looking forward to more of these since I've never really seen anyone do this before where did you get the idea!?

    1. From Zipper magazine in Japan, actually. Although they use 15 items, and are 'allowed' to style them with other shirts and skirts that aren't on the list of 15, so I think mine is more of a challenge ;) (they're still really inspiring, though).

  11. i love these 30 day compilations you do. You definitely show the versatility of all the pieces. Can I ask where those thigh highs in outfit 2 are from? Also, can you recommend a place to get some good cheap thigh highs? (I'm thinking about the wintery months ahead) :D

    1. They're from here, but I don't recommend these ones for warmth or quality heh. I am on the lookout for good, plain black thigh-high socks myself for winter. ahhmmm... ebay ;) ?? I'm not sure I'm sorry! :( If you find anywhere good, let me know!

  27. I can't even tell which one I prefer !
They all look so different and they are very stylish. Actually it's nice, because in spring we dress somehow in the same way as in autumn (I read that in fact spring is not hotter than autumn !) It's just that in autumn, as leaves are falling and flowers fading away, maybe we prefer to wear dark colors, and bright colors in spring because everything starts to reborn.
So, what I wanted to tell about that, it's that as we are both in a transitional season, we can wear the same kind of clothes ! That's better to get inspired ;)

    Oh, finally I think I have a big crush on the 29th ! ;)
