The girl anachronism

Alright, chictopia is awesome. I was able to "buy" this dress because I'd gotten enough points on the website just for posting my outfits! (Also I may have watched the item obsessively to make sure no one else got it before me, haha).  However, I still don't know how you're supposed to pronounce the site, which seems a bit ridiculous. Is it "chick"topia or "sheek"topia?? Anyone want to enlighten me?

Also, if anyone out there understood the title and is also a huge fan of the dresden dolls... please comment :)

Ahh, one more thing, I just need to note that Girl Anachronism would be such an awesome title for a vintage style blog! (An anachronism is something which is incongruous with the time period in which is exists. Like if a character in Mad Men called someone up on a mobile phone.) Ahh I wish I'd come up with that instead of "Pineneedle Collective"! I don't even know what Pineneedle Collective means. Would you all mind if I suddenly changed the name of my blog...? (Haha, just kidding. Maybe.)

    I pronounce it "sheek-topia" but I have no idea if that's right or not. And that's super awesome that you can get things with points. I'm still waiting to get some more before I get anything.

      I think you also get points for gaining fans, when people vote on or favourite your look, and for being on the homepage, etc. so they do just start building up :)

    congratulations, Annika! that dress looks fantastic on you, I'm glad you were able to "buy" it on Chictopia! I wish I had that much points to buy anything haha
    oh and please please don't change your blog name! No matter you don't know what it means, it suddenly became "you". For me, it's The Pineneedle Collective and I think it always will be... plus, it's a name no one else will have, just you! (and the 'needle' suits you very well!) ;)

    This thing on your collar (I have no idea how it calls in english sorry) is very good. It looks amazing on collar. This dress is also pretty cool. This kind of dresses are usually white or pastel colors, but this one is very good. I also love your bag <3

    I always say sheek-topia since that's how chic is usually pronounced.

    I've been racking up my chic points for a little while now completely oblivious to what they actually do. Maybe I should start putting some more into it, if I can end up buying things with them!

    It's definitely "sheek" (Frech chic) topia! I went to their conference in NY a couple years ago. It was amazing! You look amazing!! That dress is SO CUTE and darling on you!

    The dresden dolls are fantastic, and girl anachronism is an awesome song! I've seen them live a couple times, once in a tiny room with only about 100 other people (at most). Ahh-MAZING.

    chictopia is awesome. "sheek"topia is what I would guess is the correct pronunciation. Especially since a lot of people comment "chic" on all the lovely outfit pics. :) awesome purchase, that dress was made for you.
