I totally made this blouse and skirt!
This is what I spent all of last Saturday 3 weeks ago doing instead of studying.
Procrasta-sewing!
And now I am procrasta-blogging.
But I'm really pleased with this blouse! Here's some close ups of it
to show you how not even terrible it is:
I’m really enjoying DIYing vintage style clothes at the moment. I make new clothes so I look like I’m wearing old clothes. There’s something just not quite right about that…
Also if you guys could vote for my look here that would be so fantastic - I am trying to win a feature in Asos magazine, plus an Asos shopping spree!
Wearing:
Blouse - I made it
Skirt - I made it
Hat - c/o Wholesaledress
Socks - Tutuanna
Shoes - Vintage
Hope you're having a lovely day,
Annika xxx

You can make me some clothes if you like! Love the print on the blouse.

I love the blouse! Procrasti-anything is great. Until you finally feel the crunch and curse yourself for procrasti-doing stuff.
ReplyDeletehahaha, I agree. Although my particular brand of procrastination always has to be doing something super productive. I hardly ever just read a book and relax, so I feel completely tired out whenever I start on doing whatever it is that I've been avoiding, haha.
DeleteI love both the blouse and the skirt, I think what really makes the blouse for me the is proportions on the collar are perfect! Cute socks too! :)
ReplyDeleteguess what I'm doing right now? procrasta-blogging! such a gorgeous blouse, love the fabric. and the cinched waist skirt is adorable!
ReplyDeleteOhh, the blouse has such a pretty floral pattern! You are seriously amazing at sewing!

ReplyDeleteYou also look darling!
If you were to sell any of those high-waisted skirts - I WOULD BE IN ON IT.
So lovely! I do the same when I make my clothes, they always look like I've picked them up at an op shop somewhere. And of course I couldn't possibly make a dress without a darling collar on it!!
ReplyDeleteDid you freehand your blouse or did you use a pattern? It is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteoh goodness sorry i never replied!! :( i just saw this! I used a pattern for this one :)
DeleteThis is soooo lovely! Was this skirt made the same way you made the velvet circle skirt? I'm trying to start sewing my own clothes and I've been looking for a tutorial for a skirt just like this!
