My Blue Hair

Just a quick photo of my hair, when it was nice!
It lasted like this for about 2 days before going green.
Advice: don't use manic panic's atomic turquoise if you want pastel blue hair.
Ah well.

  3. It is/was gorgeous. Doesn't matter it is only hair. A) You can dye over it B) It grows back. What about putting another blue over it?

  4. Oh my gosh, pastel hair compadre! May I make a recommendation? Pravana or Special FX are the BEST unusual color dyes on the market. Don't let anyone tell you other wise! They both have incredible fades :) On another note, I am really adoring your style so I may just have to keep watch!

  5. I'm about to attempt a festive minty green for myself today. I want that "60's vintage princess phone" shade. I'm hoping my mix of 1. manic panic amplified electric mint 2. manic panic shocking blue and 3. manic panic amplified virgin snow will achieve the goal.

I used to have straight shocking blue and it started very vibrant but mellowed to a pretty turquoise after a few washes. I got a ton of compliments on it, especially after the next bleach (just on the roots) so it was a very fade resistant blonde-to-blue gradation. You should try it!

    1. Thanks for the tip! I am actually leaving my hair alone for a while now because I destroyed it a bit with too much bleaching, haha. But if I ever go blue again, I'll read your advice - that was always what I was attempting to achieve but never exactly got there. Thanks so much :)
