Starting in November 2012, I have been placing an interesting science item/fact at the end of each outfit post. Here's all the science topics I have talked about within my outfit posts so far, so that you can browse through the ones that interest you.
Click each photo below to read what I wrote, or if you'd like to browse through all my science posts, just click here (I'm pretty slack with updating these buttons below, so that link will give you more up-to-date stuff!)
You can also find me introducing my sciencey-nerd self to my blog here, my science-dedicated blog here and the post I wrote for Scientific American here.
*Note: these buttons have not been updated in almost a year. Why? Because I'm lazy (sorry). View all science posts here.

By the way if you think I've gotten anything wrong in any post (particularly if it's about physics. I am not a physicist, I just admire it a lot) please let me know and explain where I went wrong! I'm a scientist and like knowing if I've gotten something wrong, because that's how you learn.
love all of ´em!!!
ReplyDeleteand i think, that science is cool too
^.^
Where do you find all of these fascinating, random science concepts? I always look forward to what you'll post next :)
ReplyDeleteI follow a lot of science-news sites and am also always learning about science myself!

Hi Annika
ReplyDeleteI’m currently a first year student in South Africa studying a BConsumer Sciences degree, which is basically a fashion-forward degree. One of my subjects has really interested me into looking deeper within the underlying science of fashion. Of course exploring through blogs and websites, I stumbled across yours. I am highly intrigued in the evident link between fashion and it’s underlying basis. Your blog provides informative insight and knowledge in an understandable and interesting way . I recently just attended a lecture discussing the visible spectrum and I can honestly say that your video has greatly enhanced my understanding and awareness of the topic.
Love your blog and your style!

I may be over-obsessing over your blog. I LITERALLY cannot get my eyes off of it and you. I actually traveled to Japan in 2012 and was amazed at their technological level compared to ours in South Africa. This, however, has blown my mind once again. I have also heard about “Google Glasses”- it’s incredible. Doing a little research I also found myself stunned at the possibilities of various, potential projects underway. My favourite is the “Catalytic Clothing”
